Kehl!
We would have loved to spend more time in the sotuthern parts of Germany but we decided we simply could not cope with anymore rain and unfortunately travel through Germany in January you’ll end up with the same weather as we have been trying
to get away from, as we have in Sweden this time of year.
So we’ve pushed through some long days in the car and it’s payed off. Sun and some warmer temperatures have been rewarding us as we’ve gotten closer to France.
We spent two night in the small town of Kehl a couple of days ago, just in the French border and had some lovely sunshine even tho the temperature dropped below zero every night.
We stayed at a good camp spot just five minutes from a massive playpark and ten minutes from the city. Even though we are really keen on some warmer weather when the sun can out, we also decided to have a bit of a break from long days in the car. For
us and the boys sake.
Henrik also had som work to do and we also needed to sort out a few things in the Motor. We ended up having really good days playing around in Kehl, walking along the river and enjoying som sunshine.

Walked up the 44 meter high view-tower. 210 steps up you had a beautiful lookout of the whole city.
Just in the middle of the river also goes the border to France.

Lunch in the sun

When you order some milk at a cafe and get the largest glass complete with a straw and you’re in heaven
