Lyon
In the outskirts of Lyon we actually checked in on a campsite, for the first time since leaving! It’s really awesome that we are completely self-sufficient in power so don’t really need a campsite for that reason. But we had some laundry to do and we
all felt that we wanted to take longer showers than the ones we’ve had in the Motor (that we try to limit to a cpl of minutes each)
So we spent 3 nights and also took the time to visit Lyon to have a stroll around in the Sunshine ☀️
Turned out that touristing in a big city, with an even bigger double stroller was a little bit sweaty (dunno how many elevators we had to squeeze ourselves into just to get around the Metro system (Lyon is a little bit to big and steep to walk all over)
but two patient kids and we managed fine and had a really good day sightseeing around Lyon.

The tourist season really hasn’t begun yet and although the old town was absolutely beautiful nothing really was opened besides bakery’s and a few souvenir shops (took us half an our just to find a spot to have a coffe.
We also visited the Notre Dame de Lyon (Cathedral) and enjoyed massive views of the whole city.
