Hello Germany!
Our plan all along was to travel to the very south of Sweden and catch the Ferry over to Germany to continue out in Europe. We had plans to spend a few more night in southern Sweden before actually leaving the country, but wanted to have a night at a campsite to empty the waste-tank, full up on water and just relax for a day or two.
The further south we came we also realised pretty much all camp-sites for Motor-Homes/RV we’re closed so we took a quick decision on Tuesday night and booked ferry tickets on the go for Wednesday morning.
We spent the night close to the ferry terminal in Trelleborg (Freecamping) and set the alarm for 4.30am to catch the ferry at 6.15am.
Sweden is quite the long county. It took us about 8hrs (mind you though that we have a top-speed of like 80kilometers/hour 🚎😅 ) to travel the 611 kilometres from Strängnäs (where we started to Trelleborg and the ferry terminal.
And today we’ve reached Travemünde, Germany! We plan to spend a night or two in the area and figure out our route to France and Lyon.
